AION 2: PC requirements & hardware guide

Read the FHD quality labels carefully.

Read the FHD quality labels carefully. Use the source notes and the tests below to research the PC you need.

Published requirements and known gaps

The boxes show the requirements recorded in our source-linked catalogue. Missing fields remain unspecified; a broad hardware family or an API description is not an exact model recommendation.

Minimum

CPURyzen 5 2600 / Core i5-10500
GPUGTX 1050 Ti 4GB
RAM8 GB

Recommended

CPURyzen 7 3700X / Core i7-11700
GPURTX 2070 8GB
RAM16 GB
Important context: Publisher states FHD Very Low on minimum tier; FHD Low on recommended. SSD recommended; not a high-preset estimate.

Build estimate not assessed. This page helps you research requirements and hardware. A game-specific Build Finder recommendation is not available yet; published minimums alone do not establish an FPS prediction.

Read the FHD quality labels carefully

The catalogue source distinguishes FHD Very Low from FHD Low. Compare populated areas and the graphics preset you intend to use instead of calling both profiles High.

Choose a representative activity

Record the location, activity, player conditions and graphics settings. Compare lower resolution within a similar scene before deciding a graphics-card upgrade is the priority. Online delays and low local rendering performance need separate investigation.

A repeatable comparison

  1. Record the exact game version, CPU, GPU, memory configuration and settings.
  2. Use the same save, scene or activity where practical; note anything that cannot be held constant.
  3. Change one setting or rendering resolution, then compare sustained performance and pauses separately.
  4. Check temperatures, memory pressure and background work before attributing a problem to one part.

Storage and setup

The catalogue space guide is 100 GB. Treat it as an installation-planning reference, not a total PC drive size or a measured current download. Small installations may be rounded up in the catalogue. Check the publisher notes and launcher for exact content, updates and additional space.

Check the game’s current operating-system and platform requirements directly. Historical game specifications may name Windows versions that are no longer supported by the distribution client. A specification for one edition, branch or platform does not certify another.

Before paying for a PC or upgrade

An MMO test should name the location, player density and mode. Allow for your actual background applications and check SSD guidance separately.

Ask for the full processor and graphics-card models, RAM stick configuration, available installation-drive space and power-supply model. Price any motherboard, memory, cooling or power changes needed for an upgrade. Similar product-family names and equal VRAM capacities do not establish equal performance.

Use our requirements and benchmark checklist to assess evidence, and our first gaming PC guide to budget for the complete setup. No hands-on benchmark results or guaranteed FPS figures are claimed.
