The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth: PC requirements & hardware guide

Keep expansions and mods in the test record.

Keep expansions and mods in the test record. Use the source notes and the tests below to research the PC you need.

Published requirements and known gaps

The boxes show the requirements recorded in our source-linked catalogue. Missing fields remain unspecified; a broad hardware family or an API description is not an exact model recommendation.

Minimum

CPUCore 2 Duo
GPUDiscrete graphics card (unspecified)
RAM2 GB

Recommended

CPU2.4GHz quad-core
GPUIntel HD 4000 / Radeon HD 4650 series / GeForce 2xx or later
RAM8 GB
Important context: Publisher minimum storage 449MB, rounded up. Publisher uses the spelling "Discreet video card" without model.

Build estimate not assessed. This page helps you research requirements and hardware. A game-specific Build Finder recommendation is not available yet; published minimums alone do not establish an FPS prediction.

Keep expansions and mods in the test record

Compare a repeatable run segment and record the content configuration. Do not treat a clean base-game recording as proof for every mod combination.

Test your existing PC first

Compare normal use with your usual background applications. The desktop environment, display configuration and current client support matter alongside the requirement boxes. Avoid spending on a new gaming tower before checking whether the existing machine already meets your needs.

A repeatable comparison

  1. Record the exact game version, CPU, GPU, memory configuration and settings.
  2. Use the same save, scene or activity where practical; note anything that cannot be held constant.
  3. Change one setting or rendering resolution, then compare sustained performance and pauses separately.
  4. Check temperatures, memory pressure and background work before attributing a problem to one part.

Storage and setup

The catalogue space guide is 1 GB. Treat it as an installation-planning reference, not a total PC drive size or a measured current download. Small installations may be rounded up in the catalogue. Check the publisher notes and launcher for exact content, updates and additional space.

Check the game’s current operating-system and platform requirements directly. Historical game specifications may name Windows versions that are no longer supported by the distribution client. A specification for one edition, branch or platform does not certify another.

Before paying for a PC or upgrade

The publisher's GPU wording is not an exact model recommendation. Check compatibility and actual gameplay before spending on replacement graphics hardware.

Ask for the full processor and graphics-card models, RAM stick configuration, available installation-drive space and power-supply model. Price any motherboard, memory, cooling or power changes needed for an upgrade. Similar product-family names and equal VRAM capacities do not establish equal performance.

Use our requirements and benchmark checklist to assess evidence, and our first gaming PC guide to budget for the complete setup. No hands-on benchmark results or guaranteed FPS figures are claimed.
