Compare populated locations and the same route
Record whether the test uses the publisher's performance-oriented upscaled target or another rendering setup. Keep busy locations separate from quiet landscape clips.
Compare the version and rendering mode
Choose a repeatable save and route at your intended resolution. Record native rendering, upscaling, ray tracing and generated frames wherever those options apply. A 1080p result does not establish the same performance at 1440p or 4K.
A repeatable comparison
- Record the exact game version, CPU, GPU, memory configuration and settings.
- Use the same save, scene or activity where practical; note anything that cannot be held constant.
- Change one setting or rendering resolution, then compare sustained performance and pauses separately.
- Check temperatures, memory pressure and background work before attributing a problem to one part.
Storage and setup
No reliable combined installation-space figure is recorded. Check the current launcher or publisher instructions before buying a drive. We do not substitute a guessed official size.
Check the game’s current operating-system and platform requirements directly. Historical game specifications may name Windows versions that are no longer supported by the distribution client. A specification for one edition, branch or platform does not certify another.
Before paying for a PC or upgrade
The source's FPS wording includes workload-dependent drops. Check ray-tracing requirements separately and do not assume one number describes the whole game.
Ask for the full processor and graphics-card models, RAM stick configuration, available installation-drive space and power-supply model. Price any motherboard, memory, cooling or power changes needed for an upgrade. Similar product-family names and equal VRAM capacities do not establish equal performance.
